Hello, loyal readers! Guest blogger Kelsey is back with another practical beauty tutorial. This time, she’s teaching you how to groom brows for a pulled-together, face-framing look:
Eyebrows are the frames to one’s face. They are the finishing touch to any look, whether it is for stage make-up, theatre/film, natural, etc. Here is a tutorial I have made to show how I groom my eyebrows so they are tamed and shaped.
Here is what you can use:
Step 1: Firstly, you want to have the area on your eyebrows moisturized (Warning!: Do NOT get any lotion or moisturizer into your eyes—that is bad). The reason for this is so when you are brushing your brows with the spoolie the skin underneath will not flake:
Step 2: Gently rub in the moisturizer on the brow area ONLY!
Step 3: Next is where you use the pencil to locate 3 points of your eyebrow. First the start, second the arch, and third the end.
Step 3: When everything is in place, use the clean spoolie brush to comb the hairs upwards.
Step 4: Brush upwards a couple times before tweezing only underneath the brow.
Step 5: Once underneath is all cleared, repeat step 3 and carefully trim the tips. Take as much time that is needed, trimming too far will not turn out right.
Step 6: Comb the hairs downwards now and trim any bottom tips remaining.
Step 7: Brush the eyebrow into its shape. If anymore tweezing or trimming needs to be done, feel free to repeat steps 3-6. Other than that, wa-la! Freshly groomed eyebrows! Enjoy and good luck!!
