How To Get Kick Ass Lady Brows | Tami Scott Studio

So, how can you armor yourself with kick ass lady brows?

Step One – Gather ye Tools, Warrior. Choose brow pencil and brow powder that is a touch lighter than your natural brow color. We suggest to go lighter because any addition of color to your eyes will make them appear bolder and more defined, so it’s not necessary to go overboard with a darker than natural color. However, if Dita Von Teese is your thing, then you go girl! Some women look absolutely fabulous with super striking eyebrows.

Step Two – Setting Boundaries. For some women brow shape can be tricky, but we’ve got an easy method to keep them in line. Place a pencil or makeup brush handle alongside your nose and against the inner corner of your eye so that it is perpendicular to the bottom of your lower eyelid. This is where your eyebrow should start. Then take the same pencil or brush and extend it to the outer corner of your eye. The end of your brow should be at the point this line extends past the outer corner of your eye to reach the eyebrow.

Step Three – Fill’er Up. Now, using the eyebrow powder, fill in the start and end boundaries of your eyebrows with as much fullness as you like. This is also the time to use the brow pencil to extend the brow shape if needed and help fill areas of the existing brow area.

Step Four – Trim the Hedges. If you are due for a shaping, we recommend going through steps 1-3 first so that you know which hairs you need to remove to keep within the correct brow shape. If you have over plucked, you will by now see where it’s best to let nature take its course.

REQUIRED – To get the best looking natural brow, you absolutely need an angled brow brush. There is really no alternative. Other brush fibers will not be shaped correctly or stiff enough to apply color to your brows without looking like Mommie Dearest on a rampage.

BONUS  –  Set It and Forget It. In addition to brow pencil and powder, the Tami Scott Cosmetics line includes a brow sculpting duo that is comprised of one part wax and one part powder together in a nifty compact. After filling in your brows with your REQUIRED Angled Brow Brush, dip the tip into the wax section and gently apply over the brow to set the shape. This duo comes in Blonde, Brunette and Auburn.

There you go! Now you are ready to face the world, one perfect and ironically raised eyebrow at a time.
