When embarking on difficult eyebrow shaping quest, a woman should first determine her “natural arch.” Rather than arbitrarily using a brow stencil or using an eyebrow pencil to mimic the shape of your favorite celebrity’s brow, it is important to carefully consider the shape of your own face and which arch shape will compliment your face the best.
Remember that the space between your eyebrows should be equal to the width of your eye, and that the inner edge of the brow should start above the nostril. With this in mind, you will be able to find your “natural arch” by first holding a pencil to the side of your nose straight up to your brow. Your brow should begin at this point, arch just above the outward most side of your iris, and end just shortly after the outer corner of your eye.
Unfortunately many of us are born with brows that are so sparse that it is difficult to find a natural arch at all. With the help of an expert permanent makeup artist, however, even women with the sparsest brows can get perfectly arched brows permanently. Consult the Asian eye experts and permanent eyebrow experts at the Melany Whitney Center in New York if you are tired of having to fill in your own sparse eyebrows day after day!
