Canmake Eyebrow Liquid pen (shade 02) review | myhealthservices ...

by appaboy I am not really a huge eyebrow product fan, but I have to buy eyebrow pencils and makeup because I have very light, sparse haired eyebrows and I really, really need definition in this aspect. Since I have spent a long time in Sasa wondering what other makeup I have to buy, I stumbled across this Canmake shelf. Canmake is also a Japanese brand and they have lots of stuff but the most striking of their products is their Canmake Eyebrow Liquid pen. in the midst of all the eyeliners and eyebrow pencils, this is the only liquid eyebrow pen that I have seen so I took 2 pens and tried 2 shades on my wrist. Shade 01 was a bit of a grayish, ashy brown and Shade 02 had a more reddish brown shade into it. I had reddish brown hair so I bought the Shade 02 for about HK$60. I tried several times to rub the lines I made on the back of my hand but it just wouldn’t budge! Just perfect for my eyebrows!

So when I brought the product home I was so excited to try it on my eyebrows. I couldn’t try it in the shop because I already had my eyebrow mascara on and my eyebrow pencil. I washed my face and was ready to try it. it comes in a nice brown liner tube, something that looked like an eyeliner pen. it had a felt tip, perfect for lining the outer part of my eyebrows. it also has a double cover in the cap, so the product and the felt tip won’t dry out right away.

So I tried drawing over my eyebrows which had basically nothing on them, and I got scared for a bit that I would draw something weird, but the fact was, it was very easy to use and had a nice pigmentation to it that it turned out darker on my eyebrows than expected. it was easy to blend in to my eyebrows and very easy to create an outline! The sparse areas in my brow weren’t too obvious anymore after writing over it and just a little bit of dabbing here and there can create a nice eyebrow. it felt really weird as I was drawing over my eyebrows because the formula is really wet, so I felt like really, I was drawing with a felt tip pentel pen. it takes a little bit of time to let it dry out, and when it does get dry, it stays dry and it leaves your eyebrow defined. Staying power is great, as it takes also a while to remove it but it doesn’t require a lot of rocket science to remove it completely. a little rubbing with facial wash will get it completely off my skin and eyebrows.

I so love this Canmake Eyebrow Liquid pen but the only drawback for me was I have used the wrong shade for my eyebrows. The shade 02 had a little darker shade than expected, and I looked like I had eyebrow tattoo or something because it was darker than my usual eyebrow pencils and mascaras. in Sasa at Hang Lung Center they only had 01 and 02 but no 03 (which I found out was a bronzy lighter brown) so I will probably wait until my next Hong Kong trip to find out if they already would carry the shade 03.
