Kutrend – How to Shape Your Eyebrows

Makeup artist and hair stylist Faye Smith teaches you how to get those perfect, enviable arches.

STEPS

1. Select a brow shape that is right for you. You can go on the internet and look up different eyebrow shapes, or simply follow the shape you naturally have.

2. Pluck excess hairs with a tweezer to create the desired brow shape. Don’t over pluck! Go hair by hair and make sure brows are even. Your arch should line up with the outer edge of your eye and your brows should finish at an angle to the outer edge of your eye. If you have hairs growing in between your brows, be sure to pluck those too.

3. Trim the eyebrow hairs that have grown too long with blunted ended scissors. A good tip to trimming is to comb your eyebrow hairs upwards first so you can see which pieces are too long.

4. Fill in brows with an angle brush and an eyeshadow color that matches your hair. You can always use an eyebrow pencil. This creates a full, more defined look. Apply little by little with short shorts. Here, I show you how to create a natural-looking brow as well as a defined brow.

5. Finished! See the difference?
