Are people always looking above your eyes when you speak? Have people commented on your bushy eyebrows? Well, don’t take a brow beating any longer. Follow these simple steps for shaping a brow that fits your face perfectly.

A great way to begin shaping your brow is to use a pencil as a guide (or anything similar to that) to determine where your brow should begin and where to arch your brow.

Place the pencil right off of the center of the tip your nose (off to the right for the right eye, and off to the left for the left eye) and hold it up to brow (this will create a straight line from your nose to your brow). This is where your brow should begin.

Now find where the color of your eye ends and align the pencil at this point to determine the arch of your brow.

After you have figured out where to begin and arch your brow, use an eyebrow pencil to draw different shapes over your brow to decide which looks best for your face. When you have drawn the perfect brow, you can then begin shaping the brow that falls outside of the line of the penciled brow.

As you begin plucking (or waxing), a magnifying glass will help you see those pesky fine hairs the natural eye won’t catch.

Pluck one hair at a time as to avoid over-tweezing.

Follow the length of your eye, making sure to pluck any hairs off of the temple area.

The beginning of your brow should not be lower than the end of your brow.

Once you have completed shaping the brow, you should take a small brow brush (or old toothbrush) and brush the brow hairs straight up and trim any long hairs with a small scissors.

If you would still like to define your brow further after tweezing, you can also use an eyebrow pencil or powder to fill in your brow or to enhance the color of your brow.
