An Eyebrow How To » Who's Jack

Over the weekend we showed you some lovely and not so lovely examples of perfectly lined and grown eyebrows.

Now, so that you can avoid some of the more hideous pictures in the round up we have found this eyebrow how to from Skin Wellness.

You can see it in it’s entirety here but the main points are below.

Mistake #1: Arch Location:

When an eyebrow’s arch is too close to the nose, the entire eyebrow looks “off”. The arch is supposed to start right under the eyebrow’s highest part (point 2 in the picture) or further down for a “fuller” look.

There should be a straight line going from lower point 1 to the highest point 2.

Mistake #2: Colour

Eyebrows should more or less match your hair colour. They can be a couple of shades darker or lighter, but nothing drastic or else it gives a very “rough”.

When filling-in brows, use a blonde/grey eyebrow pencil and “feather” the colour through the brow. Never draw a continuous line. Shadows are better than pencils for this same reason. Even black-haired beauties should stick to blonde/lightbrown shades, they give the illusion of a fuller brow minus the fake look.
